Certup was founded by Bryan Flaws, an approved electrician with 16 years’ experience across domestic, landlord, commercial and contractor work.

After years of using certification software on real jobs, Bryan saw the same problem again and again: the paperwork was often slower and more awkward than it needed to be. Too much repeat typing, clunky workflows, messy records, and systems that did not always match the reality of working on site.

Certup was created to make electrical certification cleaner, faster and easier to manage, without losing the professional standard that certificates need.

The aim is simple: help electricians spend less time fighting paperwork and more time getting the job done properly.

Certup is starting with electrical certificates, customer records, installations, test instruments, PDF output and customer access. Over time, the goal is to build a practical compliance platform that can support more of the trade sector.
